Showcase performances
Each year as part of the Annual Conference, FEO provides the opportunity to performers of all genres to give a performance audition in front of industry planners and organizers. These performance auditions are buildt into our special Showcase evenings on Friday and our Awards Gala dinner on Saturday night, providing entertainment for the delegates throughout the evening.
FRIDAY NIGHT
Jarvis Church
HEADLINER
Take in Jarvis Church and his 10-piece band The Soul Station as they celebrate everything R&B and Motown.
Join in on the fun as these energetic and upbeat artists pay homage to the many soulful singers and their sound. Be part of an energetic and upbeat collection of Sam Cooke classics, highlighting icons of Soul music who have had a major impact on Jarvis.
From the beginning of his musical career as the frontman of ground-breaking group the Philosopher Kings, to his career as a successful and sought-after producer (Nelly Furtado, K'Naan), Jarvis can be described as the Canadian King of Soul. Come out and sway to soulful classics, Philosopher Kings hits and the best of Jarvis’s solo originals.
Final Thought
Final Thought is a high energy pop/rock band reigning from Barrie, ON. The group consists of frontman Dustin Dopsa, bassist Brandon Hawthorne and drummer Tom Watson.
Marc Ekins
The Marc Ekins Band plays an eclectic mix of Rock, Country, Blues, and Celtic music. Playing both original tunes and covers and with a diverse range of Musical Influences.
Tartan Terrors
Tartan Terrors are their own Celtic Invasion, mixing rock's energy with traditional folklore, dance, and humor.
Stef Lang
Vancouver Island based artist, Stef, stands out among the rest with her depth of talent. Combining the folk sensibilities of Joni Mitchell or Ani Difranco with the pop hooks of artists like Roby and Alicia Keys, Stef’s passion of her art is apparent.

SATURDAY NIGHT AWARDS GALA
Brooklyn Roebuck
Brooklyn’s edgy, fun, country-rock vibe and killer vocals, commands the stage. Winner of YTV’s The Next Star, actor, host, recording artist and songwriter.
Marshall Dane
Marshall Dane’s infectious blend of country and rock is set to blaze a trail again this year. Country by definition, but fueled by rock and roll and infected with a watermelon-sized helping of hope, love and salvation.
Tom Barlow
Barlow is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known for his 2003 hit, "Walk Away," from his self-titled 2004 album. He has been nominated for three Juno Awards and won the Canadian Rising Star Award and has been nominated for the Radio Music Award. Barlow has played with other musical stars like, Avril Lavine, John Mayer, Macy Grey and the Bare Naked Ladies.
